Another Hidden Talent
So I went to Cardio Express in Manchester to participate in the Jim Calhoun Cardio Raiser yesterday to help raise money for Autism research and awareness and I participated in my very first Zumba class! It was amazing! The music was pumping and the dance moves were flowing. But, what you’re not picturing is how bad I am at Zumba. In my defense, it was my first class ever, but I’m not sure that is really an excuse for my performance. I’m not the most coordinated person in the world, probably not even in the top half. In fact, at one point in the class my teacher actually turned around and asked me if I was ok. I’m serious, that really happened. It also probably didn’t make me look any better that my BFF Liz came and OF COURSE she’s super coordinated and graceful and basically looked like she could teach the damn class.
Well, you live you learn! I’ve found that although I am absolutely terrible at Zumba, it’s still ridiculously fun! I’ll definitely do it again! Hey, who knows – maybe it will even improve my coordination! Ok, I said maybe! I am still taking donations for the Cadio Raiser HERE. If you would like to support a great cause (helping to raise money to find the cause, treatment, prevention and a cure for autism), please donate by clicking on that link!
